Update from meeting on Charles 202 layout (Nicole)
Designer is drafting other setups to seat more students (currently set up for 24 people).
We might be able to order more furniture, although even if we do it may not be ready until spring. Ideally round tables and not square. Maybe school desks?
Electrical may be an issue. We could look into a charging cart to swap out.
Make a case for library staff to have increased access to 401 and other potential instruction spaces
Documenting and sharing how many people fit in each room, figuring out access to and management of the room calendars
LRS workshop series
How are they assessed? Are they worth the time?
Gather data about how useful they are to students to inform future decisions - create form for people who register and don’t attend the workshop
Our current assessment is for the individual instructor. Do we want to gather feedback on a program level?
How do we gather feedback without surveilling the instructor? Consider SFF model where there are standard and supplemental questions. Consider creating questions that foreground the content/expectations and not the instructor/delivery. Have question bank that instructors can choose from to evaluate their teaching, but these responses are not shared with us.
