Goals

  • Workstation Setup Process

    • Cables - will need both 15 ft displayport and longer power cables

  • Server Configuration

    • SRM connection - Gautam was successful in controlling the SRMs remotely

    • Configuring access between Alma and prod servers

    • Sent list of permissions/roles to Gautam on 2/28

  • End-to-end testing

Workstation Setup

  • Gautam has started the purchase order process

  • Gautam will ship them to Cynthia

  • Gautam will work with @Chin U. Kim to get the EMS software client for the workstations

Server

  • SRM Testing

    • Gautam was able to complete testing on the SRM for cranes 1-4

    • Crane #5 has run into an issue and needs troubleshooting on the dematic side

  • Alma - EMS Prod server

    • Chin is working with Paul

    • Non-prod uses a public IP on a host network

    • Prod network uses a private host - will need to set up network address translations - set this up, but not seeing the traffic for Alma - have an escalated ticket with Ex Libris

Security

  • Gautam received list of roles and permissions

  • Will work on this next week

End-to-end testing

  • John will provide the test load list to Holly and Holly will move some of those records to the ASRS location

Timeline

3/8: End-to-end testing simulation for Mini Loads

3/12: End-to-end testing simulation for Unit Loads and review of record display for unit load items

3/15

  • Deadline for having the ASRS mezzanine painted and floors sealed and space locked

  • will need a table/desk set up in the UL loading area

    • locate a small folding table that we can bring over until permanent furniture arrives

  • Deadline for having workstations configured

3/18: Deliver workstations to Charles

3/19: Install workstations in Charles - both unit load and mini loads

3/20-22: Gautam can test the connections between the pick stations and the servers

3/25

  • Gautam on site

  • Verify workstation setup and do any connection testing

  • Initiate record move from Alma to EMS

3/26 - 3/29: Test load of physical materials both into ML and UL

4/1

  • Gautam on site

  • catch up on any miscellaneous items from previous week

4/2: Operational training - mini loads

4/3: operational training - unit loads

4/4: End-to-end testing of the ML

4/5: End-to-end testing of the UL

4/9 - 4/11: Maintenance training on the Mini Load aisles

4/12: Make up maintenance training on Unit Load

5/9: Begin Alma record load to EMS

5/13??: Start loading ASRS
