• Leanne looked at Michigan’s metadata for datasets

  • Creating a readme file to expand upon someone of the metadata: methodology, how it was collected (paradata)

  • Readme will be important for nontraditional filetypes (ie required software for rendering, OS, etc.) to provide context

  • Readme is included as an attachment with the other files
