What:
- Review the compiled list of services within each broad category that were collected from each department during the brainstorming session. Each broad category of services is given a folder in Google Docs - Services Folder
- Create a succinct list of services within the broad category. Modify the "List of Services" document contained in the Services folder in Google Drive.
- Describe each service on the final list using the metadata profile. The initial descriptions will be done in the "Service Description" spreadsheet in the Services folder in Google Drive and then will be reviewed by the larger group and transferred to the CMS.
Who: Three volunteers per broad category to complete the tasks above would be ideal. Please edit the page and add your name below. Volunteers do not have to be a part of the department or library actually providing the services. After the lists and descriptions are created, there will be a review period, so this is just a draft.

What is a service
When thinking through identifying and defining a services, consider the following questions:
- Is it directly consumed by the end user? (i.e. not an internal process or services)
- Is it something that patrons ask for by name and/or recognize?
- If provided alone, can the patron use it on its own? (i.e. no dependencies)
- Can it be measured?
- Is there an expectation of timeliness of fulfillment?
