Adding digitized materials button to the homepage

• we need to do a better job of exposing digital collections

• maybe work instead on integrating into BL search results - may have more of an impact there than on the homepage

MAN-456 - Display “last updated date”

• On the former website, we displayed this date automatically on the public side.

• Perhaps we could have the ability to add a manual date for pages that need it?

• We definitely want to include a date, however, on the backend. This is part of the proposal for the admin landing page.

MAN-616 - Associate Individuals with a particular service or space

• Maybe replace or in place of the “Get Help” button?

• We should think about this linking instead of designing a display page for “Groups” as has been suggested or considered in the past.

• A virtual representation of the user guides

• We need to hear more from LRS about having these user guides on the web.

  • Is this content hard to find?

  • What need are these guides filling?

  • Is the website not satisfactory in some way?

• Cynthia is meeting with LRS unit heads on Monday 10/19 to discuss further

MAN-737 - Homepage search options

• Reintroduce the ability to search different channels from the homepage search, similar to what we had on the previous website

• worried that people don’t realize everything they can search

• It seems as though other schools are moving away from having a single search box

• Jackie put together a list of other library search boxes for comparison
