Discovery updates 6/15/2018
Blacklight
On June 25th 2018, an updated version of the Blacklight search will released and made publicly available on the library website. The Library Technology Development team is currently in the process of finalizing the release, and an official announcement will be sent out to library staff once it is accessible.
Through July, Primo (i.e. the current “Library Search”) will continue to serve as our primary search. During this time, library staff will have the opportunity to test the new search and provide feedback, as the LTD team works on completing additional features/functionality, such as the full integration of requests.
On August 6th 2018, we will officially launch, transitioning from Primo to Blacklight on the library homepage. See the full schedule and rollout plan for more details.
Primo
As stated above, Primo will continue to serve as the primary search through August 6th. It will also continue to be accessible even after then, though it will not directly linked to from the library website.
