The fulfillment unit has a very important setting called "On Shelf Request Policy". This policy determines A) if an item in this Fulfillment Unit is requestable and B) From where is can be requested/picked up. The options for On Shelf Request Policy are the following: 

  • Request for pickup anywhere regardless of availability
  • Request for pickup in different library only
  • Request for pickup in different campus only
  • No requesting from available holding
