Project Updates

The SCSST is happy to share a report we wrote on the Libraries' investment in open. The Libraries dedicates significant financial resources to open education, open access collections, open publishing by Temple faculty and students, open-focused membership organizations, and open infrastructure. However, because these efforts have been distributed across different departments, few library staff or administrators know the full extent of our support for open. The goal of this report is to provide a holistic view of these many investments. In addition, we hope to encourage Temple University Libraries to think more strategically about our motivations for supporting open, as well as provide recommendations for how the Libraries can ensure that our investments are having an impact on global access to knowledge and information.

Please get in touch if you have any feedback or thoughts.
