  • Using a Physical Items keyword search, scan the item in the search box at the top of the screen. Then click “Edit item".
  • For the item in hand, click “…” and then “Edit”.
    • Navigate to the item you wish to withdraw.
    • Go to the Notes tab and
    enter
    • select the appropriate withdrawal note in "Statistics note 3" (see code list at right) and then save.
    • Back on the List of Items page, check the box next to the item(s) you want to withdraw. If there is only one holdings record attached to the bib record a Withdraw items link will appear above. You may select multiple item records then click the Withdraw items link.

    • If there is more than one holdings record attached, the Withdraw items link will not appear. You will have to individually select an item record, then from the “…” button at the right choose Withdraw. You will have to repeat this step if withdrawing more than one item.

    • If the withdrawn item was the last or only one on that holdings record an additional window will open. It will say “The last item of this holdings record was deleted or moved. • The item and holdings record will now be deleted. If it was the last or only holdings record attached to the bibliographic record, the bib record will also be deleted. (The record will remain on the screen until you exit out).
