What is primary purpose? Is there tension between access and preservation?
What other things should we be thinking about?
- Reproducibility: Is that a requirement for depositing date? Or a service we could offer?
- Do we want to include metadata only for faculty articles that have not been deposited? (General consensus is no)

Intellectual content: do we need a "stage 1" and "stage 2" (for more complicated output/file types)?
