Blacklight
As a reminder, Temple University Libraries will transition from Primo to Blacklight for the Library Search on August 13th, 2018 (a week later than the original deadline). Currently, the development team is in the process of finalizing additional features and addressing bugs/issues submitted as feedback in June and July.
Emily Toner is also working with partners from LRS and the Library Administration to create communication and marketing materials for the Blacklight rollout, including FAQ’s and prepared talking points for subject librarians.

Blacklight
On June 25th 2018, an updated version of the Blacklight search was released and made publicly available on the library website. Between then and July 13th 2018 (today), the Library Technology Development department asked for input from library staff regarding the updated beta release, so that we can identify critical bugs and future improvements.
Emily Toner is currently working to process that feedback, as the LTD team continues to build critical enhancements for the production release, including request functionality and export features. In order to accomplish our goals, the launch date for Blacklight is now August 13th, 2018 (a week later than the original projection). At that time, we will transition from Primo to Blacklight on the library homepage.
