• Debrief meeting with RDS

  • Went over MAP draft and they made a few comments

  • Matt S.'s comment about software would be to parse out software: creating and processing (this will go into README template)

  • Add a Contributor (PI) field

  • Field labeled DOI that pertains to DOIs assigned to individual parts (remove parenthetical)

  • Identifier (other) from Annie/PubMed use case

  • UMichigan’s Deep Blue documentation

    • Would we want to create this? How to write the README, deposit, etc.

    • Question of how documentation would be developed and made available overall/question of communications

    • Might be out of scope for metadata group

• Review C/V Syntax and Notes and Best Practices

  • Break out CV and Syntax information

  • Local CV: Award (Temple awards or any awards? we can have CV with option of something else), College/School, Degree, Department, Funding, Genre

  • Authorized CV: anything with a person’s name, Coverage, Date, specific Identifiers, Language, OS, Software, Rights

• Translating language codes would be significant work, do we want to include it?

  • Ask DSpace user forum for XLSTs?

• Review Metadata Policy

• To do: revise crosswalks with new fields, CVs, and syntax by 1/29
