Highlighting Your Research During Uncertain Times' workshop follow-up

  • Over 50 RSVPs, 39 attendees

  • 30 minutes, worked well

  • Kristina and Lauri were co-hosts, everyone was muted on arrival, couldn’t enter ahead of time, asked people to put questions in the chat

  • Helpful to have 2 people (with Zoom, people came in at different times)

  • Should workshops really be Zoom “webinars” instead of “meetings”?

    • Or is “webinar” feature too limiting? Cameras aren’t turned on…

    • Do you need special permissions to do a webinar?

  • Slides are in SCSST shared drive

  • Feedback from participants:

    • Would like a workshop of overviews of best tools to find grey literature

    • More on TUScholarShare

TAP update including TAP/NBP discussions

  • TAP/NBP collaboration

    • Rethinking calendar for grants. Maybe one should take place in fall and one in spring?

    • Perhaps establish a special North Broad Press grant for TAP recipients

  • 10 faculty in new TAP cohort

  • Good number from College of Education and College of Liberal Arts

  • Most of faculty who are participating are NTTs

  • Money saved: $44,095

  • Hard to say if faculty will be doing open pedagogy project
