The Outreach & Communications Strategic Steering Team (SST) began meeting in February 2018. We developed our charge and priorities for strategic work in March 2018 and began working toward our goals in April 2018.

Charge

Team Purpose

The Outreach and Communications SST is responsible for reviewing and assessing internal and external communications, overseeing the planning and execution of a wide range of intellectual and creative programming, and promoting library resources and services.

We are committed to fostering communications within and beyond TULUP, supporting transparency between departments and administration, enhancing outreach and academic integration, and cultivating the TULUP’s role as a campus and community intellectual center.

  • Enriching the environment for learning and student success;
  • Developing programs, services, and resources to enhance intellectual productivity, scholarly infrastructure, new modes of research, and clinical care services;
  • Seeking partners in innovation and experimentation to add value to library programs and to identify new avenues for economic support;
  • Serving as a center of intellectual and cultural life;
  • Sharing the vision, making connections, broadening support.
