Elements to DSpace workflow/crosswalk

Is there a use case?

Yes: a school that isn’t yet in Elements, but that will later be added to Elements.

Annie reviews PASS: Public access submission system. Incentivizes researchers to submitting to the IR by allowing them to submit to PubMed at the same time.

Would we want the Livingstone prize winners in the DSpace?

The law library’s plan- They’re looking at what we’re doing at Paley, but also considering off-the-shelf digital commons software.

ETDs-

-How would theses that that don’t go to ProQuest be ingested into the IR?

Would this be ingested throught the direct submission form?

-What about FMA theses?

Decision: the press will host their open access books in the IR.

  • The EBooks in CDM are not covered under this decision

Note: Chris doyle previously made the made an EPub reader: http://tupress.temple.edu/
