Plan for Meeting with Unit Heads, 4/23
- RL: Start by framing where we're coming from re: scholarly communication
- RL: What's the best way to get everyone to a place where they are comfortable and they don't feel overwhelmed?
- RL: What about the other librarians? Ambler? HSL? Ask Jenny how we should reach other librarians at HSL....
- KD: Ask Steven if he can communicate to Sandi about the meeting
- We will talk about results of survey with liasions
- What should the timeline be?
- What would you like your role to be in terms of this project?
- Should this be a goal on someone's PDP?
- Should this be a unit goal?
- KD: Will create an infographic based on survey, keep it broad (not focused on unit)
- Will present skill levels
- Scholarly communication is different depending on the discipline, how can we make sure liaisons know this?
- Go section by section on the Scholarly Communications Skill Areas document and ask unit heads if they have any questions.
