- Opening of the Charles library.
- Loading of the ASRS and implementation of workflows.
- Implementation of a single service point model and related workflow development.
- A successful transition from in-person services to a virtual model. We expanded our Resource Sharing reach by joining the RapidR program, allowing us access to more materials from new partners.
- Participate in a university wide community engagement activities that included interns from various organizations and departments at the university.
- Completed a barcoding project for the for the media collection. Prepared the DVD collection for ingestion into the ASRS and for transfer to Kardon.
- Transferred 5,000 oversized items to Kardon. Transferred microfilm materials to Kardon. Identified 1.2 -1.3 million items to be ingested in the ASRS.
- Packed all stacks materials into crates for moving to the Charles. Ingested 840k items in the ASRS from May - June 30th 2019.
- Triaged several thousand items that were rejected from the ASRS and correct items locations and other Alma related issues.
- Hosted several interns from the GearUp program as well as one intern from the Temple institute for disabilities.
- Investigated various ways to integrate our guest PC program with other community initiatives.
- Developed and implemented an onsite borrowing program with SHARES libraries as well as the University of Pennsylvania.
- Created a suite of services to provide distance learning and disabled patrons with access to library resources.
- Various members of Access Services have participated in the design and implementation process for the single service point desk in the Charles.
