Notes
Naming Convention: We did not come up with specific convention, but agreed that author's initials should be part of description, not part of Report Title.
Description should include information on filter; purpose of report
Organization of the Reports: Create separate folders for Ambler and Japan reports.
In many cases reports developed for special projects (e.g. in cataloging) are kept in Personal folders and are not shared.There are times when Reports allow for more granular extract from catalog, with more options for output. Matt is using this function to identify and export records, edit those in excel and re-upload to system.
As far as we know, however, if a report is to be shared with even one person, it needs to be in the shared area.
We will test out the "locking down" of reports, so that they can be put in sharable space but not edited.
Differences between set and report (report provides more options for selecting records and output)
Communication:
Go To People
As requests are made and directed to Cynthia, or others, people "on call" are:
Matt: Expert in cataloging
Karen: Collection by subject; expenditures;
Brian Boling: Fulfillment
Nancy: General
